That is a precious photo of the two of you. I still remember when I would nurse my daughter, she would hold onto my thumb. Little things like that stick out in your mind. I, too, enjoy it most when my babies are next to me. If one falls asleep with me, I put off putting them in their beds as long as I can. Your son is absolutely precious!
It was SO great to meet you and Max this weekend. I saw you at the Sunday morning workshop and was hoping to exchange info before you left, but I couldn't find you after the class. Your little Max is so adorable and I think it's great that you went to the convention this year and, although the first one can be overwhelming, I hope that you are glad you went and that you learned some new things and made new connections. Would you believe me if I told you that I'm pretty sure I saw you at Blimpie's, this past Saturday during lunch time?
I was reading through a friend's (Brennan's Beginnings)blog and then started blog surfing through other comments and got to yours.
My kids and I went to Blimpies for lunch on Saturday because we missed the lunch meet up with Brennan's mom and a few others. Your husband was standing in front of me in line and chatting with my Lillian, who at that point was just staring at the amount of people that was all around! Your husband asked about Lillian and told me that he had a 5month old boy ... in which Lillian is a year older (Feb 08).
So, anyways, there really isn't a huge point. Just thought it was such a cool coincidence!
